Join our caring, state licensed Waldorf community at Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center in Wilton, CT. An early childhood center in our 22th year, we serve ~ 50 families during the school year. We value the protection of childhood and trust in the natural unfolding of the development of the young child. We provide joyful, rhythmic days filled with free play, crafts from natural materials, song, story on a wooded property with nourishing, and organic, homemade snacks.
Our Summer Program:
The Position: can be for as many weeks as available. Either part time or full time. It is an hourly paid position starting at $18/hour
Skills:
Qualifications : A warm and open disposition with the ability to communicate with colleagues. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children. Training is preferred, but not required.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older . The ability to meet Connecticut OEC licensing requirements including yearly professional development, as well as to pass a CT criminal background check. To be able to lift and carry small children during caregiving times when necessary. Participate in on site training provided by Apple Blossom before the start of camp.
