Job Description
We are seeking an detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments, verify documentation, and ensure our manufactured products reach clients safely and on schedule. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, checking packed boxes, and operating inventory software. Forklift is a plus but not a must have. Responsibilities
- Verify & Pack: Match physical items against pick tickets, packing lists, and bills of lading to ensure 100% order accuracy before loading.
- System Data Entry: Utilize our ERP/inventory management system ([Insert system name if applicable, e.g., SAP, NetSuite]) to update shipment status and generate tracking numbers.
- Labeling & Compliance: Generate carrier labels (UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL freight).
- Carrier Coordination: Communicate directly with freight drivers and local couriers to coordinate daily pickups and resolve transit discrepancies.
- Maintain Safety: Keep the shipping dock clean, organized, and compliant with warehouse safety standards.
