Job Description

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and helpful team member to proudly welcome and assist customers to our extensive \HomeGoods\ gifting area at our Petoskey Downtown location. Besides customer service, this individual will play a significant role in creating displays and maintaining the overall appearance of this area. Extended previous experience creating displays and working in a retail environment is desired.

You bring your enthusiasm and helpful attitude, and we will provide you with all the “HomeGoods” and hardware training you will need.

What to expect:

  • You’ll welcome customers to our “HomeGoods” area and help them find all the treasures they want and need to make their visit fun and successful.
  • You’ll work as part of a “HomeGoods” team to ensure the customer is receiving the most up-to-date information on our latest products.
  • You'll assist with creating displays when new merchandise arrives
  • You'll ensure merchandising standards are being followed specifically in the \HomeGoods\ section of the store.
  • Plan to merchandise seasonal areas of the store as the seasons change.
  • You'll restock merchandise displays as needed.
  • Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
  • You'll execute daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management.
  • Plan to be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
