Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Manager / Sales Owner to oversee their own sales and project crew while helping expand residential roofing operations within the local community.
This is a hands-on leadership and sales role that combines business development, roofing sales, insurance claims, project management, and crew supervision . The ideal candidate is self-motivated, money-driven, comfortable working in the field, and experienced with residential roofing sales and installation.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage roofing projects from start to finish, including sales, insurance claims, project management, and installation.
• Lead and oversee sales staff and roofing labor crews.
• Supervise job sites and crews throughout the installation and production process.
• Manage all sales activities, including canvassing, appointment setting, consultations, presentations, and closing contracts.
• Conduct sales appointments and customer consultations throughout the week.
• Perform roofing estimates and property inspections.
• Order materials and complete required material order sheets.
• Complete labor sheets and coordinate crew requirements.
• Initiate insurance claims, review insurance scopes, prepare invoices, and collect customer payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
• Track sales activity, customers, and projects using AccuLynx CRM .
• Uphold company values and maintain a high standard of professionalism on every project.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of residential roofing sales and installation experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for sales appointments and job sites.
• Willingness to work Monday through Saturday .
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to travel locally, approximately 2 hours within the assigned area .
• Ability and willingness to dedicate approximately 10–12 hours per day toward business and sales activities.
• Highly self-motivated and money-motivated with strong customer service skills.
• Honest, professional, and dependable.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. as needed for handling building materials.
• Experience with insurance claims, scopes, or roofing project management is a plus.
