Job Description

:

• Ensures that the customer is the #1 priority and that every guest is treated accordingly.
• Cut fresh meat and make sausage and value-added meat products according to Eckert's specifications and recipes.
• Comply with safe work practices and adheres to sanitation and health related guidelines.
• Ensure that the correct signs and prices are consistently displayed.
• Engage customers through high levels of salesmanship to encourage additional purchases.
• Keep department cases and display areas stocked and the product rotated according to product standards.
• Attend the counter to assist customers with product selection, preparation, packaging, questions and any other requests.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Under the direction of the Department Lead Manager, responsible for cutting and merchandising the freshest locally produced meats available. Also providing excellent customer service.
