Position: Maintenance Assistant (Part-time)

Shift: 16 Hours a week (Flexible days)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 / HR

Edenbrook St. Cloud is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist the daily maintenance functions. The right candidate will ensure the facilities' equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose is to aide is to perform basic duties in an assisted living.

Essential Job Functions

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities

• Performs weekly walk-through inspections of all common areas.
• Follows all prescribed Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks in TELS as required for federal, state, local, and corporate compliance.
• Accesses daily work orders through the TELS system and prioritizes their completion.
• Turnover apartments in a timely manner
• Paint
• Wall repairs
• Light plumbing

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year experience in a general maintenance role.
• Physical Demands: Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting, moving, and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds; Exerting considerable force frequently, and/or intermediate force constantly to move objects and patients. Reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing, visual near acuity, bending, stooping and walking.
