Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Shana Nelson State Farm is a neighborhood agency rooted in the San Jose, CA community. We are hiring an Insurance Account Representative who wants to build a sales career making a real difference for the people they live near — neighbors, local business owners, and families whose lives we are part of every day. This is local sales with real relationships at the center.

Responsibilities

• Follow a structured sales process from first conversation through policy placement and follow-up
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
• Participate in product training and licensing coursework
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process

Qualifications

• No prior sales experience required — we will train you
• Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication

Pay range: $50,000-$85,000 per year

This includes base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Your earning potential grows with your sales performance — top performers exceed this range.
