Job Description

Start your new career as a Forklift Operator with MAU at Textron Specialized Vehicles (E-Z-GO) in Graniteville, SC. As a Forklift Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and to their proper locations.

• $15.00 per hour
• 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Weekends and overtime may be required)

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma, GED, or ACT WorkKeys from an accredited institution National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at the Bronz-level or higher. For qualification purposes, candidates must possess a valid ACT ACT WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at the Bronze level or higher. The NCRC must be based on the ACT WorkKeys assessments in:

  • Applied Math
  • Graphic Literacy
  • Workplace Documents
• Previous experience as a forklift operator
• Experience using RFT scanners required
• Safely operate a stand-up manlift forklift at elevations up to 28 feet.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the time
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs. when performing job tasks
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed

• Operate a stand-up Manlift forklift, elevating 28 feet in the air, perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Distribute and issue products throughout production areas
• Manage warehouse inventory
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage areas
• Perform inspections on equipment prior to and following operational use
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Clean and maintain work station and follow all safety and company policies
• Keep track of parts and materials and refill bins needed to perform duties
• Operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks and cherry pickers
• Perform other tasks as assigned
