# Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Georgia

**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, AM and PM coverage available
**Highlights:**
– Level 3 Trauma Center with 28 emergency bays serving approximately 54,000 ER visits annually
– Patient mix typical of a sole community hospital environment
– EMR: Meditech Expanse platform
– Nurse and APP triage support for lower acuity patients
– 15% ED admission rate with full emergency department support staff
– Orientation includes one day of EMR training followed by 1-2 shadow days
**Requirements:**
– Georgia state medical license required
– Georgia DEA registration required
– Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (EM) is mandatory
– Case logs required for credentialing
– New graduates with EM Board Certification will be considered
– Clean professional file with no disciplinary actions
