Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Own reliable vehicle
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Valid)
• ALC-677 Certificate (Valid)
• Comfortable traveling between multiple drone operation sites
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
• Set up and maintain drone nests.
• Conduct daily aircraft and equipment inspections.
• Monitor weather and airspace.
• Communicate with Flight Operations Centre.
• Recover aircraft when required.
• Drive between operating locations.
• Maintain safety and operational documentation.
• Respond to field service requests.

Setup nests prior to start of operations

• Perform daily aircraft and flight-line checks (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), and other start of day activities
• Perform nest equipment and condition checks (before operations, during operations and end-of-day)
• Maintain nest cleanliness within the nest boundary
• Participate in Personnel briefs
• Monitor for and report hazardous weather conditions in the operating area to the FOM
• Detect and report visible obstacles or other hazards to flight to the FOM
• Verify and report location and height of detected obstacles as requested
• Properly secure nest equipment and facilities at the end of the aircraft's service
