We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Pittsburgh, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our organization, ensuring that every delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional service. You will operate your own vehicle to deliver products across the Pittsburgh area while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.

• Operate a reliable personal vehicle to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Read maps and navigate to designated delivery locations accurately, even in unfamiliar areas
• Locate customer addresses and deliver products across varying terrain and weather conditions
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Process cash and card payments accurately, making correct monetary change
• Maintain organized records of deliveries and complete required paperwork promptly
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure your vehicle remains in safe operating condition
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices
• Handle products with care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
• Work independently while remaining responsive to dispatch instructions and customer needs
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and unexpected route challenges with resilience and problem-solving skills
• Build positive customer relationships through friendly, courteous interactions
• Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns to management immediately

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Ownership of a reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle
• Ability to read maps and use GPS/navigation systems effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to make correct monetary change and process payments accurately
• Excellent motor coordination and hand-eye coordination for safe vehicle operation
• Physical capability to carry and deliver packages of varying sizes and weights
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail for accurate address location and delivery completion
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected situations
• Customer service experience or demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction (preferred)
• Previous delivery or logistics experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Knowledge of the Pittsburgh area or willingness to learn local routes (preferred)
