Position Summary

US Modules is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to support daily operations on the manufacturing floor of a solar module production facility. This role is responsible for accurately entering, tracking, and maintaining production, quality, inventory, and equipment data to support efficient manufacturing operations and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, has strong organizational skills, and communicates effectively with production supervisors, operators, quality personnel, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate production data from manufacturing lines into ERP, MES, or internal tracking systems
• Record daily output, scrap, downtime, defects, and quality inspection results
• Verify production paperwork, batch records, and work orders for completeness and accuracy
• Support traceability requirements by tracking materials, serial numbers, and lot information
• Generate production reports and distribute information to supervisors and management as needed
• Assist with inventory transactions, material movements, and cycle count documentation
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve data discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records in accordance with company procedures
• Monitor manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Assist with shift handoff reporting and production metric updates
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring reporting or data issues
• Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements while working on the production floor

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years of data entry, manufacturing support, or administrative experience
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and production activity
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments
• Basic math and reporting skills

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or solar production environment
• Familiarity with ERP or MES systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Plex
• Experience handling production reports, quality documentation, or inventory transactions
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk on the manufacturing floor for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and hearing protection
• Comfortable working in varying production floor temperatures and conditions

Work Environment

• Fast-paced solar module manufacturing facility
• Combination of office workstation duties and production floor support
• May require overtime, weekend shifts, or rotating schedules based on production demand
